Second plays fourth on Saturday night in what is sure to be a thrilling final edition of the Sydney Smash.

With Steve Smith now in the side, the Sixers have really shifted up a gear winning four in a row over the Stars, Thunder, Scorchers, and Strikers over the last fortnight.

As history shows, the Sixers have held the wood over their rivals winning four of the last five Derby’s, and I don’t expect that to change anytime soon given how sharp Sean Abbott has been with the ball in hand.

The BBL’s seventh-leading wicket-taker finished with three in the win over Sydney last week, so I’m backing him to lead the charge and help book his side a finals spot.
