The stage is set for a crucial clash at the Gabba on Friday night between the Heat and Hurricanes.

Hobart’s inability to win on the road basically makes this a must-win game, but it won’t come easy against a Brisbane side that has found some form of late with back-to-back wins over the Strikers and Stars.

That said, the Gabba has been a happy hunting ground for the men in purple. The ‘Canes have won three of their last five trips to Brisbane, and if they can rely on some production from Tim David and Caleb Jewell with the bat, they should be well on their way.

The Heat do look value at the price, but it’s hard to read too much into a couple of wins over struggling teams. With their season basically on the line, I’m happy to take the price about Hobart.
