The Adelaide Strikers missed the finals in the Big Bash last season and it is somewhat of a surprise that they are as short as their current odds. Their bowling attack, led by Rashid Khan, is one of the best in the competition, but it is tough to see where their runs are going to come from. Travis Head has been the backbone of their batting line-up for the majority of their history and he will miss the bulk of the competition due to Test Match duties. That will put a huge amount of pressure on Alex Carey to deliver with the bat and if he fails it is easy to see their top order getting run through very quickly. I have them outside the top four and I can’t get them anywhere near as their current quote.
