Big Danger: Spelldancer is likely to lead the field and with a small field can probably get some cheap sections throughout and provide a good kick in the straight.
Roughie: Mumbeilly finished her race off well last start at Moonee Valley and at $21 looks the best rough hope in the race.

Back Me: Catered made up a stack of ground behind Coins last start and should have finished closer. Glen Boss takes the ride on Saturday and she gets weighted well in the race.
Don’t Back Me: Mybenz went back last start and found a lot of trouble. I think the same will happen again on Saturday.
Big Danger: Coins beat a lot of the main runners in this race last start and can do it again on Saturday.
Roughie: Benenden isn’t weighted well but she has a lot of class and her run last start i thought was very good plus she has won one from one second up.

Back Me: Churchill Dancer won very well last start and goes into this race with the same weight and should be able to replicate that win.
Don’t Back Me: Tonyboy was well beaten by Churchhill Dancer last start and i cant see him turning the tables even with the 1kg pull in the weights on Saturday.
Big Danger: The Huntress was super impressive on debut at Sandown and looks the biggest danger in the race.
Roughie: Boer was well beaten in a barrier trial but has been given a lot of time to mature since then and warrants respect.

Back Me: Awesome Bro will be returning for the first time since contesting the Caulfield Guineas and if he can regain that form he should be winning and winning well against this field.
Don’t Back Me: Lankan Rupee will have to carry 58.5kg and jump from barrier 10 at Caulfield which is a massive worry and im willing to risk him.
Big Danger: Flamberge is very consistant and will make his own luck from the front and with the claim will only carry 56.5kg in the race.
Roughie: Falcent won a good form race last start with Coins coming out and winning by a big margin. If he can get a good run in transit from barrier 14 he is right in this at big odds.

Back Me: Rugged Cross was super impressive in his Australian debut at Sandown. The Chris Waller import looks to have a lot of upside to him looking at that run and against a moderate field here should make it back to back wins.
Don’t Back Me: Motivado is another imported horse and looks a good stayer but on Saturday i think they will be too sharp for him with his last two wins coming over 2800m.
Big Danger: Clanga’s Glory hit the line strongly last start in a race which looks to be perhaps the best form heading into this, if he can get some luck in the run he should go close.
Roughie: Dowager Queen has been disappointing her last two runs although she has shown she is a good runner in the past and this field isn’t great so if she can regain some of that form could go close.

Back Me: Tigerland looks the horse to beat in the race especially after the scratchings of key runners in the field this morning. He is at very short odds which i dont think provide any value but it’s hard to see anything else beating him.
Don’t Back Me: The New Boy is always consistant but has drawn a wide barrier with a big weight on Saturday so i doubt he can beat Tigerland giving him 4kg and an easier run during the race.
Big Danger: New York is a very good horse when he puts it together and looking at his last start he looks ready to win.
Roughie: Solsay was very good last start at Cranbourne and with a good run from barrier ten should be in the finish at good odds.

Back Me: Halle Rocks has won three from three first up and from the wide barrier she can go back and not need luck. She looks very well rated in this very even race.
Don’t Back Me: Day Procedure will only be carrying 51kg and is likely to go forward, she wont have any favours sitting on the speed and i dont think she has the class of some of the other runners in the race.
Big Danger: Delegance ran a quick time on the Slow going last start at Sandown and is very well weighted in this race and looks the danger.
Roughie: Royal Bender has a very good record over the distance and first up record and should be in the finish at double figure odds.

Back Me: Serene Star will have to carry the top weight but she has won two from two first up and two runs ago she ran Mrs Onassis to a head who has come out and won a Group 1 this preparation.
Don’t Back Me: Vibrant Rouge has had two starts at Caulfield without placing. Drops back from 1400m to 1100m here even though there has been over a month in between runs i think its a concern considering her odds.
Big Danger: Tariana loves Caulfield and with the claim gets into the weights very well. Went close in two good races in Tasmania and looks the biggest danger.
Roughie: Miss Bindi went back in a very slowly run race last start and wasn’t given any chance. Finds an easier field here and she has a very good second up record.

Best Bet: Awesome Bro is the best horse in the race but has had surgery after the Caulfield Guineas which is a little concern but they wouldn’t be racing him if he wasn’t right. but be safe and check the market before betting.
Next Best: Rugged Cross looks a very good type and has a lot more upside than the rest of the field he faces on Saturday and if he is to go onto better races needs to be winning.
Best Roughie: In a meeting where value looks few and far between Catered looks the best value bet of the day, made up a lot of ground on the short priced favourite last start.
