West Ham will regard picking up three points at home against last-placed Norwich City as essential to their top-four hopes. The Irons are fifth – one point shy of Arsenal.

After back-to-back losses to Arsenal and Southampton either side of Christmas, West Ham regained some form with away wins over Watford (4-1) and Crystal Palace (3-2). They scored three first-half goals – including a brace to Manuel Lanzini – at Palace before letting in a couple of late consolation efforts.

Norwich City’s two wins – achieved in consecutive games in November – seem a distant memory after five straight losses without scoring. They were pumped 5-0 at home by Arsenal and 3-0 at Crystal Palace in their last two.

West Ham eliminated Leeds from the FA Cup on the weekend with a 2-0 win, Lanzini again getting on the scoresheet. Norwich broke their long goal drought with a 1-0 victory at Charlton.

Hammers are set to be boosted by the return of right-back Vladimir Coufal. On-loan Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour is unlikely to be fit in another blow for Norwich.

The hosts are skinny $1.26 favourites but should take out this clash comfortably.
