Coming off another Champions League win might give Villa confidence heading into this fixture, but their record on the back of European football this season is not exactly inspiring confidence in the market.

In their five Premier League matches on the back of European fixtures, they have defeated Wolves in September, before drawing with Manchester United and Bournemouth, before losing to Liverpool and Chelsea, a total of five points from five matches.

However Forest have been up and down in the worst possible way, winning just two of their last five including defeats against Newcastle, Arsenal and Man City.

While they did defeat United last weekend, a win in back to back testing games does not look all that likely, and not something worth backing at their current price.

It’s a bit of a leap of faith on Villa but they are well positioned to secure three points here.
