The defending champs will open their season heavy favourites on Sunday at home against the Phoenix as they hope to return to the postseason for the 35th year in a row.
The Wildcats are easily one of the top teams entering the season, largely due to reigning NBL and Grand Final MVP, Bryce Cotton.
The star point guard is capable of carrying this team deep into the finals once again, but he certainly won’t be alone with the likes of Todd Blanchfield and Luke Travers joining the brigade.
Backing against Perth this early in the season with home-court advantage is never recommended, particularly with the Wildcats well rested.
