This looks another tough spot for the Taipans after taking on the Kings only two days earlier.

Home court advantage should boost their chances, but it likely won’t mean much against a well-rested Melbourne side that just defeated the 36ers by 24-points on opening night.

United played flawlessly down in Adelaide as Chris Goulding and Jo Lual-Acuil both combined for 32-points.

Melbourne also scored 46 of its 89 points in the paint – a worrying sign for a Taipans team that is still finding its legs defensively.

To their credit, the Taipans have typically enjoyed the better part of this matchup recently winning four of their last five games against Melbourne.

Even so, Melbourne looks an entirely different beast this year and they do look a good bet to earn another win.
