The Scorchers and the Hurricanes to take to Hobart again on Monday for a rematch of last Tuesday’s clash.

Perth flexed its muscle in a comfortable 53-run victory that was highlighted by a ton from Mitchell Marsh, and a three-wicket day for Tymal Mills.

The Scorchers have clearly picked up where they left off last season, and until the Hurricanes start to find some form with the bat, I really can’t back them with any confidence.

Matthew Wade continues to struggle atop the order, and although D’Arcy Short is capable of carrying the load, it’s fairly clear that the ‘Canes are lacking a genuine all-rounder that can come in and get the job done.
