The Hurricanes start their BBL season against a Sydney Sixers side that will be without Steve Smith (for obvious reasons). The Canes have opened as $2.02 underdogs to Sydney’s $1.77 and I get it. The Sixers roster is easily the most cohesive in the league. Any one of their players can stand up and deliver at any given moment.

The Canes roster has taken a beating this season and it’s hard to tell who they will trot out for this first game, runscoring wise. I like Tim David for top Hobart runscorer and Josh Phillipe should perform well for the Sixers here
