The season is quickly getting away from these two sides, meaning a win could go a long way to keeping their finals hopes alive.

The Heat remain in Brisbane on the back of two humiliating losses to the Renegades and Hurricanes, but they should feel slightly good about their chances here after defeating the Strikers when they met late last month.

Adelaide, on the other hand, struggled to take wickets against the Stars on Monday in their eighth loss of the season, and it’s growing increasingly difficult to pull any positives from their performances.

That said, the Strikers do own a perfect 3-0 record as the away favourite against Brisbane, and they should make this a contest if Peter Siddle brings his A-game.

The Strikers have also had the highest opening partnership in each of their last six matches against the Heat, so if they can establish themselves early on both sides of the ball, they’ll win this.
