Where: Adelaide Oval

Bet: Bet On This Match HERE

Preview:

The Strikers go into this home clash as favourites on Saturday night hoping to knock off the Thunder for the first time since December 2018.

Adelaide opened its season with a no result against Sydney before losing to the Thunder by three runs on New Year’s Eve.

That hasn’t stopped the bookies from siding with the Strikers however, and I’m certainly having a tough time disagreeing with the current price.

The Strikers are playing on six days rest, compared to a Thunder side that fought tooth and nail for a big win over the Hurricanes on Thursday night. Usman Khawaja and Alex Hales both came through with huge 50 run performances, but if there’s one side that can match Sydney on the run sheet, it’s Adelaide.

Jason Gillespie’s squad finished the home/away season ranked first in runs scored. Alex Carey has averaged 40 runs in six career matches against the Thunder, so I’m happy to pair the both in a Multi here.
