We’ve got a rare Friday morning game to look forward to this week between the top-of-table Scorchers and the last-place Strikers.

Perth has cruised to back-to-back wins over the Sixers and Stars after losing to the Thunder last week, and like the market suggests, the visitors should have no trouble extending their lead atop the ladder.

The Scorchers have won their last two meetings over the Strikers, which includes a comfortable 49-run victory when they met last month.

Colin Munro and Cameron Bancroft were the stars of the show that day, and while neither be in the side for this one, the scorchers are still in capable of hands with Laurie Evans showing some real poise against the Stars earlier in the week.

Andrew Tye remains the leading wicket-taker in the Big Bash, and with the Strikers currently ranked second-last in runs scored, nothing is going to come easy.
