Both teams come into this game with four wins to their credit and both, escaping with narrow victories last week.

The Gold Coast, despite being fourteen points down with less than thirty minutes to play, pulled off a miraculous victory over the struggling Parramatta 28-22. It was a win they needed to post after a poor second half showing the previous week, saw them handed a twenty point loss by big brother Brisbane.

It wasn’t a convincing performance by the Titans last week who, off the back of a favourably penalty count in the second half, were given plenty of opportunities to get back into the game.

The Knights lasted against a tenacious Panthers outfit, prevailing by two points in a dour affair 8-6 last week.

It was the second week in a row the Novocastrians find themselves in an arm wrestle given the previous week was a 19-16 loss to the Dragons but it should be good experience for the Knights, especially in this game where, as the respective records of both teams this year and that of their head-to-head clashes indicate, there’ll be little to separate the two sides.
