Brisbane Lions vs Melbourne Demons 2013 AFL Round 5 preview and tips

The first game on Sunday is between two sides that have one win apiece this season and that will not reach great heights given the respective form of both sides.

Brisbane scrapped home against the Gold Coast Suns by two points in Round 3 in recording their win but they have suffered big losses to Western Bulldogs (68 points) and last week against North Melbourne (63 points).

The Demons needed all four quarters to put the GWS result to bed last week and finally crack it for a win but their previous three weeks saw them lose by an aggregate of 321 points!

Head to Head, Brisbane won both games last year but in season 2011 and will never have a better chance to put their sluggish start behind them and start his season again.

In saying that though, I don’t know if I’d trust them in their current form to cover the 36.5 point line.
