Morocco’s miraculous run continues with the reigning world champions up next and a place in the World Cup Final on the line.

Having knocked off Spain and Portugal in their last two outings, they will be giving themselves every opportunity to claim another big name scalp.

Defensively they have been nearly perfect so far, conceding just one goal in their final Group Stage match against Canada and that was an own goal from Naif Aguerd.

However they may never have a tougher task than repelling a rampant French frontline with Kylian Mbappe ready to wreak havoc.

The French saw off a resilient English team with a little bit of good fortune when Harry Kane’s second half penalty was fired over the bar.

This is a team yet to keep a clean sheet at this tournament and Morocco will be aiming to hit them on the counter attack, but the big question remains whether or not they can.

If the French can find a way to score early and force Morocco to abandon their gameplan this could be a much more wide open game than they would like and it will play into the French hands.

Perhaps it’s a simplistic approach to take but in a situation like this you have to back the better team and France have the advantage all over the pitch.
