Randle has generally been the Knicks go-to guy requiring the Power Forward to put up points, but his passing game is underrated.

The Knicks lost their season-opener (no surprise) to the Pacers by 14 points, but the big thing to come out of it was the emergence of RJ Barrett who managed 26 points – and with the sophomore now the main man in New York, this makes Randle more of a facilitator out of the elbow.

Randle finished with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists against the Pacers with new Knicks Head Coach Tom Thibodeau looking to play him in a role similar to that of Domantas Sabonis, also emphasised by his pre-season assist numbers where he had 4+ in three of the four games, averaging 5.5 from 28.5 minutes per game.

With Barrett New York’s future, plus the injection of shooting with Alec Burks, Reggie Bullock and Obi Toppin, The Wolf expects Randle to average around this 4-assist mark this season and likely record a few triple doubles along the way – the task of a triple double won’t be easy against Philly but for Randle to record 10+ rebounds and 8+ assists you can get $35 in an SGM.
