The defending champs opened their season with a comfortable win last week against the Phoenix, which almost makes the current -5.5 line look a little generous.

Perth absolutely dominated down low scoring 48 of their points in the paint, but it’s fair to say the Wildcats still have some improvement to come after struggling to find their usual consistency from beyond the arc.

There’s no question the Phoenix should be a contender this year after pulling off a nice win against Adelaide last week.
