The Breakers have spent the better part of a week reflecting on their opening round loss to Adelaide as they now travel across the country to face the Wildcats in Perth.

New Zealand’s delayed start to the season should work in their favour at some point, but it’s tough to see them pulling out an upset here against a Perth side that has drawn all the favours to start the season.

The Breakers haven’t won at the RAC Arena since 2017, while they won’t hold particularly fond memories of their agonising one-point loss at this venue this time last year.
