Melbourne now returns home after a very tough road trip hoping to turn things around. Prior to last week’s hiccup United had won six straight games, which the bookmakers have obviously factored in considering Melbourne has opened as 4.5-point favourites.
The 36ers have been a very frustrating play this year as they continue to lose games they should be winning.
Ultimately, Adelaide’s 3-4 record on the road this season isn’t the only worrying sign. The 36ers have also lost three straight games to Melbourne and are 5-15 as the away underdog straight-up.
