The Bullets will be hoping to carry some of the momentum from their mid-week win over the Kings into Saturday’s home clash against the Taipans.

Brisbane has typically enjoyed the better part of this matchup in recent years winning each of their last three home games against Cairns, but that being said, the Taipans also have a big point to prove after opening the season 1-3 prior to Thursday’s meeting with the Hawks.

Playing on short rest largely explains why there’s almost even money on offer in the market, but they do represent good value if they can exploit Brisbane’s weak areas like the Hawks did last week.

The Bullets have been awful from three this year and they really don’t have a deep bench to rely on if their starters fail to fire.

As mentioned earlier, the Taipans have struggled to secure offensive rebounds so far, but they have managed to find some consistency from beyond the arc.

After some tough opening games against the Hawks and Melbourne, this looks a much more winnable game for Cairns than the market suggests.
