Tom Trbojevic’s absence from a Manly side would normally ring alarm bells for punters but that hasn’t been the case for the Sea Eagles before their clash with Canberra tomorrow night, as the struggling Raiders continue to drift with TAB.
Coming off the back of a heavy defeat by the Titans and without Josh Papalii and Jack Wighton, Canberra have blown from $3.60 to $4.50 while Manly have shortened from $1.28 to $1.19 even with Tom Trbojevic and Skipper Daly Cherry-Evans on State of Origin duty and Jake Trbojevic out injured.
Tom Trbojevic ($2.60) is one of the best backed players to be named Wally Lewis Medal Winner for the best player in the Origin series and is second favourite in the market behind Blues Captain James Tedesco ($2.50) going into the final match, with Latrell Mitchell at $3 in what looks like a three-horse race.
