A field of 12 is set to contest the first Group One race of the year, the CF Orr Stakes at Caulfield.

Saturday’s weight-for-age CF Orr Stakes over 1400m will see six Group One winners, Avilius, Hey Doc, Scales Of Justice, Fierce Impact, Kings Will Dream and Begood Toya Mother, race for the $300,000 first prize.

The Anthony Freedman-trained Ringerdingding has drawn barrier one with So Si Bon, one of two runners for the Lindsay Park stable, drawing the widest gate.

The Lindsay Smith-trained Scales Of Justice will be attempting to replicate his Group One Memsie Stakes victory at the course and distance of last spring .

Fierce Impact and Begood Toya Mother are chasing their first victories at weight-for-age after scoring Group One wins in handicap races last spring.
