Sydney and Port Adelaide will square off at the SCG on Sunday afternoon, both holding a 2-3 record in 2025. The Swans will be looking to repeat their dominant performance from last year’s preliminary final, where they defeated Port Adelaide 95-59 at the SCG, avenging a 112-point loss at the Adelaide Oval earlier in the season. Port Adelaide showed their unpredictable side last weekend, bouncing back from losses to Essendon and St Kilda with a commanding 121-91 win over Hawthorn, leading by as much as 71 points in the second quarter. Sydney, however, suffered a 109-78 defeat to Collingwood during Gather Round and will be without key forward Joel Amartey, who succumbed to a hamstring injury. Despite the setback, the Swans will be eager to bounce back in front of their home crowd.
