It’s another top of the table clash this week as the Kings and the Wildcats square off with plenty on the line.
Sydney improved to 11-1 last week with a very convincing 10-point win over Melbourne. The Kings were untroubled for most of the game as they jumped out to an early lead, aided by Casper Ware’s handy 27-point performance.
The Wildcats, meanwhile, were on the opposite end losing by double-digits to the 36ers. Perth now finds itself in the midst of a two-game losing streak – their first since last December.
These two teams have played both some absolute classics and some absolute fizzers in recent memory.
Last month’s meeting resulted in a 104-85 win to the Kings, while the Wildcats pulled off a memorable overtime win over Sydney back in February.
Three of the last five games between these two teams have been decided by nine points or less, and while it’s difficult to argue with Sydney’s impressive record, it’s also worth factoring in how dominant the Wildcats have been at home in recent times.
Last time Perth opened as the home underdog against the Kings they won, so at their current price, it’s worth taking the value on the Wildcats to bounce-back.
