Preview:

West Coast go into this match coming off their historic first AFLW victory holding off the Western Bulldogs by four points.

It’s been a great turnaround for West Coast who went from being kept scoreless by GWS the week before and then dominated for the majority of the game and held off a Dogs comeback.

They’ll go into this game with plenty of confidence but facing Melbourne will be a real test of where they are at.

Melbourne currently sit second on the conference B ladder and will really want to get the four points to make sure they are safe in the top three going into the last half of the home and away season.

The Dees rapidly improved last weekend in the perfect conditions of Marvel Stadium with seven goals from 30 inside 50s and a solid 20 point win over Collingwood.

It was a far better improvement than the one goal scored against the Saints the week prior.

The bookies have put the line at -19.5 in favour of the Dees but the windy, unpredictable conditions of Casey Fields along with West Coast going into the game with a bit of confidence can put them within striking distance of Melbourne and worth taking.
