22% of all money wagered on this year’s premiership has gone on GWS, and there are twice as many dollars on the Giants compared to the second most popular club – Sydney.
There’s no such love for the Western Bulldogs ($5.50), who are only the ninth best backed side to defend their flag. Even Essendon ($23) and Collingwood ($34) have attracted more bets.
