These two sides meet for the second time in less than a month as they take to the pitch at AAMI Park for a Monday night hit out.

Western United will back it up from Thursday night’s 1-1 draw to the Nix in Launceston but are well placed to find themselves in the top six at the end of the round with other results this weekend playing to their advantage.

Mark Rudan’s boys have been a bit hit and miss of recent, one win, one draw, one loss in their past three matches, all they need to do is beat the Jets at “Home” and by home, we mean the 4th venue they’ve played home games this season.

The Jets have broken a seven-game losing streak notching up draws in MW16 and MW17, but it’s been a long nine weeks of football since they’ve taken the full three points and I can’t see them breaking that streak tonight against Western United.
