The Scottish Rugby Union have announced a revised schedule for Scotland’s tour to Australia, scrapping a clash with the NSW Waratahs.
Scotland will no longer be playing the Super Rugby side in a fixture which had been scheduled for June 10 in Sydney.
“We have had confirmation from the Waratahs that due to injuries and the requirements of the Wallabies squad they would be unable to fulfil the fixture,” Scotland team manager Gavin Scott said.
“We have looked into alternatives but, unfortunately, nothing else fits into our tour schedule.”
Scotland will therefore play just one Test in Australia, against the Wallabies on June 5.
The SRU also confirmed the Scotland touring party will comprise 28 players.
