Cadel Evans supported in 2012 Tour De France

After a small shift towards his main rival Brad Wiggins, punters with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au have jumped back onto Cadel Evans to take out the 2012 Tour de France, backing the Aussie from $2.70 into $2.40.

Evans has once again attracted eight times the money to win consecutive Tour titles compared to Wiggins, who has drifted from $2.20 out to $2.37.

“Wagers are now coming in four to one in favour of Cadel compared to Brad Wiggins,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes.

“They’re both perfectly placed but the punters clearly think Cadel will come home the stronger of the two.”

Denis Menchov is joined on the third line of betting at $15 by Vincenzo Nibali while Michael Rogers remains the next Aussie in the market at $151.
