Brisbane Lions vs Geelong Cats live scores – AFL 2012 Round 5

The second of tonight’s AFL matches is between Brisbane Lions and Geelong Cats. The opening bounce is at 7:40pm local time with the match being played at The Gabba. The last time these two teams played Geelong won by twenty nine points in Round 17 last year.

Both teams are coming off Round 4 wins. Geelong played Richmond and were quite disappointing in their match and only won by ten points. Brisbane needed an easy game to boost their confidence which they received and were able to beat Gold Coast by sixty five points.

Brisbane Lions dont have many changes to their winning team but it should be noted that Simon Black will play in his 300th game tonight which is an incredible achievement for one of the games greats.

Geelong will be glad to receive the services of Matthew Scarlett back in their team tonight after finishing his suspenion and should boost the Cats defence.
