Port Adelaide coach Matthew Primus has been sacked by the under-performing AFL club.
The club has elected not to renew his contract for 2013 following the side’s embarrassing 34-point loss to Greater Western Sydney on Saturday.
He will be replaced by assistant Garry Hocking for the last four games of the 2012 home-and-away season, the club told reporters on Monday.
Chairman Brett Duncanson will also stand down in December.
