Adelaide have locked away their emerging midfielder Rory Sloane on a three-year AFL contract.
A week after retaining Patrick Dangerfield, the Crows said Sloane had also signed a new deal.
Sloane, 22, with Dangerfield a member of Adelaide’s leadership group, has enjoyed a break-out season for the third-placed Crows.
“Rory has developed into one of the leaders, which is great for our team,” Adelaide’s football operations manager Phil Harper said in a statement.
“They are a tight and loyal group and have great confidence about the future of the football club.”
Sloane has played 43 games since being recruited with pick 44 at the 2008 national draft.
