Geelong on-baller Jimmy Bartel and St Kilda defender Sam Fisher are major withdrawals from their teams for round-seven AFL matches.

Bartel’s ankle injury forced him to pulled out of the Cats lineup for Saturday’s match against the Crows in Adelaide.

The Cats are yet to confirm who will take his place, but George Horlin-Smith, Tom Gillies and Shannon Byrnes are their emergencies.

Fisher was also taken out of St Kilda’s squad for the Monday night clash against Carlton at Etihad Stadium.

The Saints backman injured his hamstring in the first half last weekend against Hawthorn and Tom Ledger will take his place.
