Washington’s breakout performance which saw him record a career-high 42 points, while LaMelo Ball played sidekick with 24 points and a career-best 12 assists. Meanwhile, Portland last played on Friday, losing 102-93 at the Lakers despite the best efforts of Damian Lillard (35 points). That marked the Blazers’ fourth consecutive loss, however, they’ll take confidence from their 12-game home winning streak against Charlotte. If the Hornets are able to end that streak it will mark just their fifth win in 27 games against the Northwest Division.
