The Canberra Raiders have reportedly sacked representative fullback Josh Dugan.
News Limited reports the NRL club’s board voted to axe Dugan at a meeting on Thursday.
Dugan was asked to front the board to explain breaches of the club’s code of conduct.
The former NSW Origin fullback has missed every training session since the Raiders’ disappointing round one loss to Penrith and took photos of himself drinking when supposedly recovering from injury.
It is understood Dugan will work out some form of a release from the final two years of his Raiders contract.
Canberra chief executive Don Furner will hold a media conference at 1.45pm.
