FOLLOWING their 38-24 home victory over the Buffalo Bills in the American Football Conference Championship Game, the Kansas City Chiefs are $1.55 favourites at TAB to win Super Bowl LV over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($2.50) on Monday, February 8 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The Chiefs – $6 to win Super Bowl LV before the season started – will be aiming to secure consecutive NFL titles after accounting for the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Miami last February and win their third Super Bowl in franchise history.
Tom Brady and the Buccaneers reached this season’s NFL championship decider after Tampa Bay upstaged the Green Bay Packers 31-26 on the road in the National Football Conference Championship Game.
Six-time champion Tom Brady will be contesting his tenth Super Bowl after spending the first 20 seasons of his career with the New England Patriots before moving to the Buccaneers in the offseason.
Tampa Bay – $51 to win Super Bowl LV before the signing of Brady – is playing in the Super Bowl for the second time in franchise history after they thrashed the Oakland Raiders 48-21 in Super Bowl XXXVII in San Diego, which was held in 2003.
The Buccaneers are also creating history in a fortnight as it will be the first time a team has played a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
