Second in their respective divisions, the 5-2 Chicago Bears host the 4-2 New Orleans Saints in a crunch game.

The in-form Bears suffered a 24-10 loss to the Rams in Week 7. The Bears are one of the NFL’s defensive benchmarks, but last week’s was a loss that highlighted Chicago’s – and Nick Foles’ – deficiencies on offence.

The Saints have won three in a row, coming out of the Week 6 bye with a 27-24 win over the Panthers. Drew Brees steered the Saints’ injury-hit offence expertly, passing for three touchdowns.

The Saints are on a five-match winning streak against the Bears, including a 36-25 victory in Chicago last season despite Brees’ absence.

This time around, Brees should prove to wily for a Bears side that will inevitably rely on its defensive starch to spring an upset.
