The Concorde Stakes is a Group 3 quality handicap horse race in Australia, open to horses three years and over.  The 1100 metre Concorde Stakes is run at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney, with the 2012 edition taking place on Saturday the 8th of September.  There has been a number of notable winners of the Concorde Stakes over the years, which has been in existence since 1990.

Some of the more well known horses that have won the Concorde Stakes include Armidale in 1997, Private Steer in 2003, Red Oog in 2005, Typhoon Zed in 2008, Reward For Effort in 2010, and Decision Time in 2011.  However, the best records come from the early days of the race, with the first three winners of the Concorde Stakes between 1989 and 1991 clocked in at less than a minute.

There are other races also taking place on the day of the Concorde Stakes, including the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes and the Group 2 Furious Stakes.  Some of the races that come after the Concorde Stakes include the Group 3 Cameron Handicap at Newcastle and the Group 2 Caulfield Sprint at Caulfield Racecourse.

The 2011 Concorde Stakes was won by Decision Time, with Winter King coming home in second place and Monton coming home in third.
