All Too Hard wins Futurity Stakes 2013

All Too Hard, the half-brother to champion sprinter Black Caviar, has continued his own rise towards to the top of Australian racing with an effortless Futurity Stakes win.

The glamour three-year-old made it back-to-back weight-for-age wins this campaign to confirm his favouritism for next week’s Australian Guineas.

Sitting just off the leaders in the 1400m feature at Caulfield, All Too Hard worked his way into the race from the 600m and had the Group One in his keeping at the 200m.

Giving jockey Dwayne Dunn a treble, All Too Hard drew clear to beat Glass Harmonium by three lengths with the New Zealander King Mufhasa taking third.

The Melbourne Cup winner Green Moon was fourth after being checked out of the contest as All Too Hard swept to the lead.

“He’s doing everything beautifully … doing everything right,” Dunn said of the valuable colt.

“It’s a credit to his demeanor.”
