After losing their first 10 AFLW games, Richmond has now won two out of their last three games and will go in favourites as they host West Coast at Punt Road Oval this Sunday.

The Tigers overcame the Gold Coast Suns with a 15 point win on the road at Metricon Stadium. Despite leading their guard down in the third quarter, allowing the Suns to get within three points, they held their nerve to take the four points.

Richmond has been one of the most improved sides this AFLW season, managing to find themselves in the contest in just about every game they have played.

West Coast will travel down to Melbourne with plenty of confidence having crushed the Cats with a 39-point victory.

It was their forward Imahra Cameron who went on a blitz in the second quarter booting three goals in the space of six minutes along with the Eagles holding the Cats goalless until late in the third quarter.

Neither teams are in finals contention but both will want to finish their seasons off strongly.

The Eagles haven’t travelled to Victoria this season and Richmond is still yet to win a game at home.

There’s a first time for everything, and this Sunday will be the Tigers first win at Punt Road.
