After breaking through for their first win of season 2020, the GWS Giants will go in favourites ahead of this Sunday’s match at Blacktown against West Coast.

In wet and sluggish conditions the Giants produced a 10 point win over the hapless Gold Coast Suns, and all it took was two goals in the first quarter.

The Giants defence held up brilliantly for most of the match, constantly turning over any entries from their opponents for most of the match.

For West Coast, it was definitely a game of two halves last weekend against Brisbane and the Eagles will be filthy about the five behinds they kicked before half-time.

Despite trailing by a point at the main break, Brisbane burst through the gates and the Eagles didn’t stand a chance, going down by 45 points.

West Coast is yet to win a game this season and GWS have a terrific opportunity to conjure up consecutive wins.
