After a heartbreaking loss to Fremantle, in which the Blues conceded three goals in the last nine minutes of the game to go down by four points, Carlton MUST win this game if they are to have any chance of playing finals.

With three wins and four losses, the Blues are now in mathematically possible territory and will need a number of results to go their way.

Carlton’s weakness this season has been slow starts, but they rectified that by leading 21 points a the first quarter only to fade away in the second half.

They will go in the unbackable $1.05 favourite against the Gold Coast Suns, who are yet to win a game this season but showed to be competitive and some fight in their 15-point loss to Richmond last week.

The Suns currently sit on a 0-7 record and are winless in their past eight matches with it being over a year since they last won a game in the AFLW.

Carlton will win this, it’s just a matter of how.

The line has been set at -31.5 in favour of the Blues, and factoring in their slow starts/fade outs and that the Suns are playing at home/showed some ticker last week, I’ll back them to get within it.
