Aust to bat first against NZ

Australia have lost the toss and will bat first in their opening World Twenty20 warm-up game against New Zealand in Colombo on Saturday.

Australia have recalled pace bowler Clint McKay from a hamstring injury ahead of their first Group B match against Ireland on Wednesday.

George Bailey’s side also have a second warm-up game against England on Monday.

In-form quick Mitchell Starc has been rested from the side that beat Pakistan by 94 runs in their third T20 International in Dubai on Monday night.
