Round 4 of the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman tournament draws to a close in New Zealand on Sunday when the Chiefs host the Rebels.

The Chiefs became the first New Zealand side to suffer a defeat in this tournament when they went down 40-34 to the Reds in Queensland.

There is no doubt that the Reds away is the toughest prospect for any New Zealand side in this series, and this obviously shapes as a great opportunity for the Chiefs to atone.

It might have been in defeat, but the Rebels did manage to put 27 points on the Highlanders in Dunedin last week, in what was clearly their best effort of the tournament to date, even though they remain winless in Super Rugby Trans Tasman.

While they have noticeably improved with each start, the Rebels face a wounded Chiefs outfit who are sure to be hellbent on recovering, and I’d simply hate to charged with this task.
