However, it was an unlikely hero who provided some much-needed spark for the Nuggets, with Austin Rivers contributing 21 points, 16 of which came during the fourth quarter. Comparatively, Damian Lillard (37 points) was again Portland’s strongest contributor. Jusuf Nurkic (13 points, 13 rebounds, six assists) was also influential, but cost his team by fouling out for the second game in a row.
