Ladbrokes Park will host an impressive eight race card on Wednesday, June 2nd.

Race 1 – 12:25pm – Ladbrokes Plate (1300m)

Write The Score found form around some good horses last time and can make a winning return at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.

The Written Tycoon filly didn’t manage to record an elusive win, but she raced consistently, and finished second behind Liquero at Mornington most notably.

She has reportedly taken benefit from her time away from the track and I’m happy to stick with her today.

Race 2 – 1:00pm – Clanbrooke Racing Handicap (1400m)

Mac ‘N’ Cheese only just missed at Bendigo on debut and can break her maiden at Ladbrokes Park this week.

The Sebring filly mustered an eye-catching turn of foot to finish second, beaten a little more than a head by All About Eve.

She’ll take plenty of natural improvement for that effort and can fight out the finish again.

Race 3 – 1:35pm – IVE Print Handicap (1600m)

This is a drop in class for Star Of Eden and she can return to winning form.

The Wandjina filly broke her maiden at Sale when resuming, finishing down the order in Group 3 company two back before finishing fourth at Flemington last time out.

She looks to be at peak fitness for this race and I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.

Race 4 – 2:10pm – Ladbrokes Switch Handicap (1000m)

Esta La Roca hasn’t been seen at the races since February, but this is a drop in class from what she is used to contesting, and she can make a winning return.

The El Roca filly was a strong and consistent performer last time in, recording consecutive wins at The Valley and ending her prep third behind Lessage and Sartorial Splendor most notably.

That form is more than good enough for something like this.

Race 5 –  2:45pm – Ladbrokes Blended Multi Handicap (2400m)

He hasn’t shown his best form in two starts back this time, but this is a big drop in class for Roland Garros, and I’m happy to give him another chance.

The Helmet gelding returned some nice efforts during his spring prep, highlighted by a nice win over 2500m at The Valley on Feehan Stakes Day at The Valley.

He didn’t beat a runner home in the Wagga Cup last time, but fitter third-up and out to a mile and a half, he has each-way claims.

Race 6 – 3:20pm – Ladbroke It! Handicap (1300m)

Fields Of Ivy was an impressive winner when resuming and can make it two in a row at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.

Deep Field mare has recorded two wins from just four career starts so far, but there is no doubt that her resuming effort, which saw her beat the likes of Sacred Palace by more than two lengths, was the best of her career to date.

With improvement and appropriate luck, she’ll take plenty of beating in something like this.

Race 7 – 3:55pm – Ladbrokes Same Race Multi Handicap (1400m)

Bermadez puts an unbeaten record on the line in the seventh at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday, and he is up to continuing his rise through the grades.

The Tavistock gelding stamped himself as a runner to follow when he broke his maiden at Geelong on debut, greeting the judge more than five lengths ahead of his rivals.

He returned from a spell for another nice win in Class 1 company at Pakenham and he’ll only improve for that effort.

Race 8 – 4:30pm – Ladbrokes Bet Ticker Handicap (1600m)

This is one of the better, if not the best race on Wednesday’s card at Ladbrokes Park and there is a case to be made for several runners, including Perennial.

Perennial was a consistent performer for Peter Moody last time in and recorded a lovely win at Caulfield before ending her prep second at The Valley.

She picked up where she left off, finishing second behind the talented Kurabui at Pakenham last month, and there is no horse of that ability engaged this week.
