Tom Hawkins and Taylor Hunt have both been withdrawn from the Geelong team for Saturday’s AFL qualifying final against Fremantle.

Key forward Hawkins, who has been troubled by a back injury for much of the year, has been replaced by ruck-forward Josh Walker.

Midfielder Hunt (ankle) has been replaced by Cameron Guthrie.

The Dockers have also made a late change, with All Australian defender Luke McPharlin coming in for his first senior match since round 15.

Having finally recovered from a calf injury, McPharlin takes Alex Silvagni’s place in the Fremantle team.
