Melbourne Sept 5 AAP – Hawthorn small forward Cyril Rioli is in doubt for Friday’s AFL qualifying final against Sydney at the MCG after failing to train with the main group on Thursday.

Rioli missed last week’s final-round game, also against Sydney, with an ankle complaint.

Key forward Lance Franklin trained with the Hawks at Waverley Park in wet conditions on Thursday but will miss the first-versus-fourth qualifying final through suspension.
