Premier of NSW Mike Baird is set to reverse the Greyhound Racing ban enforced in NSW.
Amid the reports of the reversal the Premier said that the sport will not go back to where it was before the ban was introduced saying strict penalties with lifetime bans for live baiting and animal cruelty will be enforced.
Just over a month after passing legislation to ban greyhound racing, Baird will apparently introduce legislation to legalise it again.

Reports the Baird Govt is reconsidering the greyhound racing ban. No official word yet. Potential lifetime bans for animal cruelty

The news has sparked mixed results with the NSW community welcoming the news others have stated the NSW Premier is going back on his decision due to his dwindling popularity.
Disappointed to hear @mikebairdMP is set to reverse his greyhound racing ban. Weak leader, no conviction, just another politician. #nswpol
